Discover the biggest boat show in Southland, the Southland Boat Show, featuring an impressive lineup of exhibitors from across New Zealand. From top national boat builders to local industry players, the event brings together a diverse range of exhibitors, all showcasing their latest products and innovations in the marine industry.
The Southland Boat Show is held at the ILT Stadium Southland in Invercargill.
The Southland Boat Show is brought to you by the Southland Trailer Yacht Squadron and is entirely managed by a team of dedicated volunteers, including current and past members of the Squadron. The committee is comprised of individuals from a diverse range of professional backgrounds, all united by their shared passion for sailing.
Funds raised from Boat Show Southland are used to support water based activities and safety in Southland. Projects supported in recent years are:
Locator beacons for crew of Bluff Coastguard
Riverton Coastguard Repeater Station
Te Anau School Life Jackets
DoC Toilet on Dome Island Lake Te Anau
Donation to Manapouri Boat Club for bridge repairs to boat ramp Lake Manapouri
Purchase of Open BiC Dinghy for Marakura Yacht Club to encourage youth sailing
